Our flying car is fitted with a Parking Brake system that complies with current regulations. For future models, PAL-V wants to investigate a new Parking Brake system, using a friction principle that can be mounted within the current gearbox.

The assignment will consist of designing a complete test setup, to test this friction-based parking brake system. This includes designing and translating to a production model, as well as building the test setup and carrying out the tests of the parking brake system.


  • You are looking for an internship that starts in February 2022.
  • You have experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or comparable).
  • Good social skills.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Not afraid to show initiative.
  • Experience in engineering (study or hobbies).
  • Good proficiency in the English language.
  • Willing to travel to our office in Raamsdonksveer regularly.
