The function
PAL-V is migrating to Microsoft Azure, expanding its cloud infrastructure with building blocks. As part of the cloud development team, you'll design, implement, test, release, monitor, and support our cloud solutions.
You will work SCRUM Agile projects with refinements, sprints, reviews, epics/stories, and retrospectives. This approach allows iterative improvements, close collaboration with key users/stakeholders, and alignment with their requirements and priorities. Mostly based at our office in Raamsdonksveer, but we're familiar with hybrid work using remote tools. We collaborate with consultancy partners, offering expertise for learning and tackling complex design and implementation challenges.
Key tasks and responsibilities
You and the team are responsible for the development and support of our cloud infrastructure, its services and applications and maintaining its stability, continuity and security.
You will design parts of our infrastructure and review the designs of others to come to the best feasible solution for PAL-V considering maintainability, extendibility, performance and costs. As a service-minded person, you say “yes” to achievable goals and “no, but let’s see how we can get your functional request granted” to (key-)users and stakeholders.
Your profile
- MSc. degree (HBO as for the Netherlands ) or higher in information and telecommunication technology supplemented by five years of experience with Microsoft professional business infrastructure development and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows server environments, Active Directory, SQL Server, Storage configurations, Exchange and/or Office365 configuration, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure cloud storage.
- You have a pragmatic approach to get the determined goals achieved with the team.
- Helping to improve the team towards a ‘high-performance team’ and sustaining that level of cooperation is a considerable part of your personal drive.
- You have an above average and demonstrable experience with IT-infrastructure components, like;
- Virtual server environments, docker containers and microservices
- Storage solutions like cloud (blob) storage
- Networking infrastructures with complex IP architectures, routing protocols, VPN, firewalling
- Identify management and RBAC implementation
- General e-mail solutions and their security
- You are a fast learner, for you are eager to dive into complex issues you and your team run into. You know when to persevere in finding the solution and when to take some distance and find expertise to help you out.
