PAL-V is working of the world's first flying car! There is a great deal of interest worldwide in this pioneering mobility concept. PAL-V will deliver its first vehicle to the customer in 2024 and is therefore starting to set up its production process now. As part of this, we are looking for a production planner for the factory in Raamsdonksveer, North Brabant.
About the position
We are looking for a talented Production Planner to join our production team. As a production Planner, you are responsible for planning and managing day-to-day production activities to ensure production runs efficiently and effectively. You work with various teams within the company and communicate with the various departments to ensure that all deadlines are met and that all production processes run smoothly.
Tasks and responsibilities
Schedule
- Create and release the daily production plan in ERP, taking into account availability of all resources to ensure that all production orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Signal problems related to staffing resources and agree on solutions with the Production Manager.
- Signal problems and deviations of tools and equipment; and agree on solutions with the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
- Signal problems, deviations, and shortages in parts or delivery times and solutions agree on solutions with the Supply Chain Manager.
Management & control
- Processing and checking planning parameters in the ERP system (such as lead time).
- Analyzing the production data and preparing reports to improve the productivity and efficiency of the production team in collaboration with the Production Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Process improvement and optimalization
- Supports the Production Manager in setting up and maintaining the continues improvement program, e.g. Lean-Six program
- Identify and report system and design improvements.
How you complete our team
- A completed MBO education in a relevant field of study, sush as (Techincal) Business Administration (Technische bedrijfskunde), Operations Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and able to interact effectively with colleagues at different levels within the organisation.
- Well-developed analytical skills and able to interpret and use data to implement improvements.
- Excellent organizational skills and able to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Experience with implementing and applying lean methods is a plus.
