PAL-V selects Mendix low-code platform to accelerate digital transformation
PAL-V, the Dutch pioneer in FlyDrive Mobility Solutions, has chosen Mendix, a Siemens business and an industry leading platform in low-code development, to strengthen its business processes and operations. PAL-V will use the Mendix enterprise low-code platform to develop bespoke applications and further digitalise, automate and scale the company’s operational efficiency and growth.
“PAL-V’s decision to extend its digital infrastructure using Mendix demonstrates the power of low-code in enabling highly specialised industries, such as the Advanced Air Mobility market, to create a strong foundation for innovation, efficiency and scalability” said Youri Booster, Account Executive at Mendix.
By strategically opting for low-code software development for multiple applications rather than purchasing and customising commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, PAL-V ensures full alignment of its digital solutions with its unique company requirements as it prepares for the production of the world’s first commercial FlyDrive vehicles.
“With Mendix we can rapidly develop secure and scalable applications tailored to our needs, while building internal expertise for the long term,” said Dolf Veenker, IT Manager at PAL-V. “This approach allows us to stay in control of our digital transformation and accelerate the journey towards delivering sustainable FlyDrive mobility solutions worldwide.”

To realise this ambition, PAL-V has entered into a collaboration with The Orange Force, a Mendix partner. In the first phase, The Orange Force will develop the initial applications while also training PAL-V’s in-house teams. Over time, PAL-V will establish its own agile development teams, with The Orange Force continuing to support as a trusted expertise partner.
“We are delighted to support PAL-V in this strategic transformation,” said Jeffrey Kwee, Managing Partner at The Orange Force. “Our role is to not only deliver the first application, but also empower PAL-V’s own teams with the skills and agile mindset needed to continuously innovate with Mendix.”
PAL-V plans to roll out its first application in early Q4 2025, accelerating its digital transformation programme.
