System Engineer
The position
As a System Engineer at the Design Organisation at PAL-V, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and structuring our System Engineering approach. You will be responsible for managing vehicle-wide requirements, integrating both road and aeronautical certification into clear, actionable requirements for sub-systems and back to vehicle level. You will report directly to the HODO and CTO and actively contribute to streamlining the design process through a robust requirement framework.
Your future job
Tasks and responsibilities
- Set up and structure the System Engineering processes and practices within PAL-V.
- Manage requirements from top-level, through system level, down to review units and back to top-level.
- Review safety, requirements, and certification documentation.
- Collaborate with technical management to define requirements downflow strategies.
- Work closely with engineers and system owners to refine and validate requirement sets.
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- You have demonstrable experience in setting up System Engineering structures or departments, ideally within aerospace certification programs or equivalent.
- You possess strong communication and collaboration skills in English.
- You have excellent written communication skills in English.
- You are a proactive team player with an optimistic mindset and analytical problem-solving abilities.
