Wiring Design Engineer
The position
As a Wiring Design Engineer at PAL-V, you will be responsible for the design, development, and documentation of wiring harnesses and electrical interconnects in a safety-critical environment. You will ensure the proper integration of these wiring harnesses throughout the vehicle, from concept to final implementation, in both the flying and driving domains. You will collaborate closely with hardware, software, and mechanical teams, translating system-level requirements into detailed wiring designs. You play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and certifiability of PAL-V's wiring harness.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure integration and manufacturability
- Ensure safety and compliance by following regulations and supporting certification documentation
- Select components (connectors, shielding, cables) based on environment and functional requirements
- Design and develop wiring harnesses, schematics, and 3D routing models according to requirements and PAL-V design guidance based on aerospace and automotive standards
Your profile
- HBO/WO degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in wiring design in the automotive, aerospace, off-highway or similar industry.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks Electrical, including schematics and routing, is required.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
